The Machinery Regulation generally applies from 20 January 2027, replacing the Machinery Directive. A limited number of provisions apply earlier. Businesses need to assess how their product, documentation, supply-chain role and conformity-assessment procedure are affected. Planning a launch in 2027 requires more than changing the legal reference on an existing declaration.
