For products that are articles, chemical compliance can involve substance restrictions, Candidate List information duties and other obligations depending on composition and the supply-chain role. Candidate List substances above 0.1% by weight can trigger article communication duties. SCIP is a related waste-law obligation, not a CE certificate.
How we support this
We request material and supplier information, assess the relevant evidence and identify targeted testing or declaration needs. We distinguish restrictions, communication and database obligations rather than treating them as one generic REACH test.
The 0.1% threshold is not a universal ban on all Candidate List substances. The relevant duties require an article-specific assessment.
